At ToucanDoo we definitely have our fair share of plates that do not "cut the mustard", meaning = if we don't think it passes our high-quality standards test, then we do not send it out to our customers. This does, however, mean that we have some waste products. Sam our director is an avid environmentalist and hates waste and she does what she can to reuse and recycle what we can. These plates are a perfect example, we have reprinted the plates that would normally be classed as waste, and these will be used as display sample plates to send out to our kindergartens and customers.

We also reuse all boxes and packaging that our blank products arrive in.

What's NEW at ToucanDoo? I am!!! : ).

In April 2022 I became the very proud new owner of ToucanDoo, Mylinda (previous owner) had put in 9 years and felt it was time to focus on her own artist dreams and let ToucanDoo fly free and into my open arms.

A little bit about me - I am a graphic designer, artist/sculptor of large scale whales, teacher of art to young kids, a sometimes gym coach and most importantly a professional dog patter mainly in the Burleigh Heads area.

I have plans to expand the business by also catering to an older demographic, as well as supporting artists and photographers by doing small runs of their artwork to create merchandise. As well as gift ideas for friends and family. I will occasionally introduce new products and as always continue to serve the loyal existing ToucanDoo customers. I am based in Burleigh Heads (the Goldy), however, we sell and service all of Australia and New Zealand and we will also ship overseas.

I will be doing regular posts and updates and if you sign up for my Newsletter I will send you special deals and you will always be kept up to date with new product.

The main business at ToucanDoo is putting kids' artworks and your photos on plates and other products such as coasters, placemats, mugs, cups, keyrings and magnets.

At ToucanDoo we are creating memories with the best useable personalised Design-It-Yourself keepsake on the planet : ).

I just wanted to share with you all this fabulous pic a friend shared with me of an art plate wall at a Harajuku Gyoza, Darling Harbour. I seriously must get out more : ), I had no idea this place existed, and I checked out their Instagram page and my mouth is watering, but mostly I absolutely love the art/photo plate wall. This is the type of thing I aspire to inspire my customers with, give you vision of how good you can make your memories and visions, photos of special moments, favourite people, your pets, street art, sunsets, inspirational quotes, cartoon characters, the list is endless.
